Career and Technical Education (CTE) in Wisconsin develops students who are prepared for postsecondary education and career success. CTE teachers are critical in preparing the next generation of students for success in the global workforce. A high quality CTE program enhances family, business, and community engagement. In mid-August, the Department of Public Instruction released a new video "Explore the Possibilities with Career and Technical Education" as part of the Families and Community Members are Essential to Success website. Through the direction of Advance CTE with support from state leaders of career and technical education, a number of new tools are available for educators as they begin the 2018-19 school year.
