Quality Components of Career & Technical EducationCareer and Technical Education (CTE) in Wisconsin develops students who are prepared for postsecondary education and career success. CTE teachers are critical in preparing the next generation of students for success in the global workforce. A high quality CTE program enhances family, business, and community engagement.  Wisconsin CTE promotion and toolkit resources .  In mid-August, the Department of Public Instruction released a new video "Explore the Possibilities with Career and Technical Education" as part of the Families and Community Members are Essential to Success website.  If you have a Wisconsin CTE Success Stories that you are willing to share, then complete our Wisconsin CTE Success Stories online form so our team can recognize quality components of your program that help students to be college and career ready.

Through the direction of Advance CTE with support from state leaders of career and technical education, a number of new tools are available for educators as they begin the 2018-19 school year.  

Additional Advance CTE commissioned research from 2017 highlighting "The Value and Promise of Career Technical Education: Results from a National Survey of Parents and Students" and numerous additional resources focused on strategic messaging are also posted to the CTE: Learning that Works for America-Raise the Visibility of CTE website .
