WI FBLA Fall Leadership Lab Registration Deadline Reminder

Friday, September 21, 2018

The Wisconsin Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Fall Leadership Lab registration deadline is approaching soon on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.  Additionally, local FBLA chapters may apply to receive funding to support attendance of students in financial need by completing the WI FBLA Foundation Conference Registration Credit form promptly after submitting registration to attend.

Additional details about this event including registration links may be viewed on the Wisconsin FBLA Fall Leadership Lab website.  Students do not need to be registered FBLA members to attend and faculty who are considering starting an FBLA local chapter are also welcome to attend.  The Fall Leadership Labs experiences in Appleton, Menomonie, and Madison support regional opportunities toward the following goals:

  • Connect with other FBLA members from your region -- High School and Middle Level students are encouraged to attend!
  • Learn leadership skills from members of your State Officer Team and special guest speaker.
  • Experience FBLA with programming specially crafted for inexperienced FBLA members and students with future leadership potential.
  • Grow through Adviser/Teacher Professional Development.  This will be held during breakout sessions to connect faculty advisers with their Business & IT Education Consultant /FBLA State Adviser, Dave Thomas; to learn more about FBLA topics specific to the upcoming school year; to discuss regional and state education initiatives with support from the Wisconsin Educators of Business and Information Technology (WEBIT) professional association; and to network with Wisconsin FBLA-PBL Foundation, Inc representative(s) to connect with initiatives to support your local chapter.

Wisconsin FBLA annually supports over 7,000 student members in over 200 middle level and high school chapters.  Wisconsin FBLA is an affiliate of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. (FBLA-PBL) and is recognized as the largest career student business organization in the world. Each year, FBLA-PBL helps over 230,000 members prepare for careers in business.  The 2018-19 Wisconsin FBLA state officer team is proud as elected representatives to support the national mission to inspire and prepare students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.
