WI FBLA: State Leadership Conference Preview

Thursday, January 25, 2018

As we move forward this year, our state office has scheduled a weekly update regarding the State Leadership Conference that will be sent to all advisers. A copy of these communications will be archived on Wisconsin EdBITS (Educational Business & Information Technology Stories - use the search term "FBLA" to view related stories).

Of particular interest to high school chapters this week, we are thrilled to announce that our conference directors and our Friend of Wisconsin FBLA, Patty Hendrickson, have developed a new 2-day leadership program titled as the "Legacy Academy." The Legacy Academy will provide the opportunity for up to 168 non-competitive event participants to take their two-day conference experience to new heights by actively exploring innovative leadership, developing personal leadership, and connecting with some of the La Crosse areas top business leaders. Please access the Legacy Academy link to learn more about this new conference experience.

Middle level chapters can also see in the Breaking News area that there has been an update to state event guidelines on the number of events that will be required of student participants at the State Leadership Conference.

There are numerous updates posted to the Wisconsin FBLA State Leadership Conference website. The site is structured to provide you with quick links to a wide-range of featured information such as:

Good luck to all FBLA members as they prepare for the upcoming Regional Leadership Conference and we look forward to all your great success stories being shared during Career & Technical Education Month and FBLA Week in February.
