Decode the Future: A Counselors Guide to Computer Science

This FREE workshop series for middle and high school counselors and curriculum directors will focus on developing a deeper understanding of computer science and related careers. A strong focus will be on student engagement strategies to utilize during individual academic career planning and course selection discussions. Attendees will engage in hands-on activities to explore computer science concepts, connect with post-secondary institutions and industry professionals to examine career opportunities within computer science for students. In addition, the workshop series will provide an opportunity for attendees to analyze and interpret data provided within Xello, a College and Career Readiness software for student career planning.

In-person meeting will be hosted at CESA 7 in Green Bay and virtual meetings will be 2 hours during the day.
