Wisconsin FBLA-PBL Foundation

The Wisconsin FBLA-PBL Foundation, Inc. board of directors met on Tuesday, June 12 and approved over $30,000 in support to Wisconsin schools for the 2018-2019 school year to support, sustain and grow chapters who are affiliated with Future Business Leaders of America.  Support will be directed to both high school and middle level divisions.  Displayed below is a summary of the directed areas of support for the upcoming school year.

$10,000 State Leadership Conference Support
There is a wide array of services that will be supported by support directed to SLC such as awards, sponsor promotion, and event production services. A minimum of $10,000 will be donated to the Wisconsin FBLA.

$1,000 New & Reactivated Chapters
Each new or reactivated chapter will be provided with a check for $100 after officially registering 10 members.

$15,000 Outstanding Chapter Recognition Program
The National office currently has an annual program to recognize Outstanding Chapters. We believe it is vital for a chapter to be actively involved and supporting a robust student experience by implementing the goals of FBLA through the activities defined in the national recognition program. The funds would be released after chapters are recognized by the National office (deadline for chapter submissions is April 1). The funds would be allocated to all chapters that qualify with a minimum of $250 and maximum of $2,500.

$5,000 Funding for Students with Financial Needs
School faculty advisers may apply to the Wisconsin FBLA state office to receive a conference registration credit to attend the Fall Leadership Lab, National Fall Leadership Conference, and/or State Leadership Conference.  Funding will be made available through an online request form on a first-come, first-served basis.

$3,500 Chapter Membership Recognition Program
Each school chapter is encouraged to submit the Who's Who Self-Scoring Rubric to profile a member's active participation in FBLA.  Additionally, members must complete a cover letter and resumé that highlight experiences by the third Friday in January).  The updated rubric will be posted when available to https://dpi.wi.gov/fbla/competition.   Seven members will be recognized (one per Wisconsin FBLA region).  The Wisconsin FBLA-PBL Foundation will recognize the regional recipients at the Regional Leadership Conference in February and direct $500 of financial support to each respective local chapter at the State Leadership Conference in April.
