Beginning Teacher Induction Essentials Training Series

WI Administrative Code PI 34 requires districts provide ongoing orientation to beginning teachers. To assist districts with meeting this requirement, the Induction Essentials: Beginning Teacher Seminars are available for use in local facilitation in districts or may be facilitated at the local Cooperating Education Support Agency (CESA). The content and sequence of the seminars corresponds with milestone events within the EE System, developmental needs of beginning teachers, and related professional practice components and standards.

Each seminar offers a Mentor Supplement resource to assist mentors in continued instructionally-focused professional conversations to extend learning and support the implementation of new strategies.
