Beanstack Updates

Thursday, August 18, 2022

Didn't get to launch Beanstack at your district last year? No problem! We're diving into year two as the DPI continues to offer Beanstack to public school district library programs! Beanstack is an online tool to help build a culture of reading in your district by focusing on engagement through challenges and choices.

This opportunity is being funded through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant, which is also being used to provide Beanstack in public libraries. Through a unique feature of Beanstack called tandems, students can connect their school and public library accounts. This provides an open door for collaboration between public and school libraries.

If you are ready to get started using Beanstack, use the link in this flyer to sign-up. To learn more about Beanstack, there are three webinars being held on multiple dates this fall, including an introduction for new users and two sessions highlighting new Beanstack features.
