Event Description

The workshop encourages the development of strategies and programs that reduce risks and strengthen protective factors of multi-ethnic children. The audience includes all who have a professional interest in the positive development of multi-ethnic children including: early childhood to high school educators, administrators and principals, curriculum specialists and directors of instruction, school counselors, home school coordinators, tribal education directors and staff, social service providers, health directors and staff, community recreation specialists, coaches, and college and university students, faculty and staff.
 
Registration Procedures:
Registration includes emailed materials and professional development certiicate for each session. The pre- registration deadline is July 16, 2018. The pre-registration fee is $113 USD per person. The regular registration fee is $133 USD per person July 17 to 22, 2018. Event day registration is $153 USD per person. Discounted group rates are available from participants from the same institution and pre-registered by July 16: $83 per person for groups of five or more. The student fee is $83 per person and pre- registered by July 16, 2018.

Online Training Course Option For People Who Cannot Attend:
Assignments are available including written reflections for journal article reading, practicum activity and video observation per workshop. The cost is only $99 per person per workshop and will be a total of 20 hours of professional development hours. The Online Training Course feedback will be provided by Dr. Dan Ninham.
