The Office of Educational Accountability and CESAs are offering a free Assessment Professional Development and Coaching Series to increase teacher and leader capacity in understanding how to create and use different types of classroom assessments.
Each CESA will provide professional learning and 4 in-district coaching sessions. Districts can participate in the entire series, or attend one or more of the topics listed below based on interest. A district administrator is required to attend sessions, however, teams of educators may vary by topic. A one time stipend will be provided for participating districts.
Professional Learning Topics Include:
- Assessing Student Learning: Classroom Assessment and Data Analysis (Required prerequisite to all other sessions) - 3 days in person learning or online learning option
- Performance Tasks - 5 days in person learning
- Formative Assessment Practices - 5 days in person learning
- Educator Created Interim Assessment - 5 days in person learning
