ASSIGN ADMIN RIGHTS
support for users with a high level of
administrative rights

Assign Admin Rights

Purpose:  There are several "Admin Rights" that can be granted to users. Each right allows that user access to different platform functions.

For optimal use: The user must be designated as a "district administrator" (evaluator) in their account in order to assign admin rights.

Available Admin Rights

The recommended rights to give all evaluators are "View Historical Data" and "Report Writer".

  • Form Designer: Enables the administrator to create and edit forms, including embedding rubrics in forms.
  • Rubric Designer: Enables the administrator to create and edit rubrics for future insertion into evaluation forms.
  • Component Manager: Enables the administrator to create component templates and assign components to district Evaluation Types and to individual users.
  • User Management: Enables the administrator to assign evaluation types to users and also assign cycle start and end dates.
  • Report Writer: The Report Writer tool allows administrators to run provisional and customizable reports within the system, and it provides valuable insight into your district's daily functions. (Suggest adding for all evaluators).
  • Ad Hoc Elements: Enables the administrator to assign Ad-Hoc Elements to users. (Not recommended as the forms are outside of the evaluation process)
  • Rollover Tool: Enables the administrator to rollover the district (or a subset of users) from one year to the next in bulk. This works in conjunction with your District Settings. (Ensure that this right is only given to a SELECT group of TRAINED administrators.)
  • System Report: Provides administrators access to the system reports available for the district.
  • Edit Archived Forms: Enables the administrator to edit the content on forms from a previous evaluation cycle. (Consider adding for HR Administrators)
  • View Historical Data: Provides the administrator with access to historical evaluation data. (Suggest adding for all evaluators).
  • Super Admin: Enables the administrator to have all of the rights above. (Ensure that administrators with this access have all received appropriate training).
  • Evaluation Rights: Provides Administrator permission to determine who can participate in a staff member's evaluation process and what level of permission the evaluator should have in the staff member's evaluation forms (e.g. Submit vs. View).
