Assign / Remove Administrator to a Building
For optimal use: You must assign the admin to the building in which they will be the evaluator. The Super Admin of the platform does not need to be assigned to a building as they have access to all users in the system.
To Access follow the path: Configuration Tools > SITE CONFIGURATION > Buildings
Add an Administrator/Evaluator to a Building
- Click the "Manage" button to the far right of the building you wish to assign admin.
- To the right of the "Approvers & Observers" section, select the "Edit" button.
- Click "+ Add Observer".
- In the pop-up box, enter searchable criteria in the available fields. Then click "Search".
IMPORTANT: A user must be assigned to the "Approvers/EEM Observers" role in PG Permissions to appear in the search results. - Select the desired user from the displayed results. Click "Add".
- Select the checkbox under "EEM Observer" next to the user's name.
- Click "Save" button to the right of the "Approvers & Observers" heading.
Note: Once there is at least one Approver listed, additional observers in the building may be added in the EEM Observers section below. This may be used for assistant/associate principals, special education directors, etc.
Remove an Administrator from a Building
- Click the "Manage" button to the far right of the building you wish to assign admin.
- To the right of the "Approvers & Observers" section, select the "Edit" button.
- To replace a currently listed administrator in the "Approvers & Observers" section, click the "Change" link and complete the search and add process (outlined above) to replace the currently listed user with another.
- To remove an administrator listed in the "Approvers & Observers" or EEM Observers section, click the red trash can icon to the right of their name.
- Then click on the "Save" button.
