2022 Danielson Framework for Teaching Updated Forms for Teacher Evaluation (2024-25)

Starting in the 2024-25 school year, the Wisconsin Educator Effectiveness (EE) System state model will be implementing the 2022 Danielson Framework for Teaching (FfT) as the required framework for the evaluation of teaching.

Legacy vs. Growth-Focused Versions

DPI has created and provided form templates and setups that utilize the required WI evaluation rubrics, and support the professional growth processes of the EE System, while creating documentation that meets state data requirements. Districts and independent charters have had the flexibility to use the older (legacy) form templates first rolled out with the state model adoption of the Frontline Education platform or switch to a new (growth-focused) version.

New (growth-focused) form templates were made available in the spring of 2021 for first-time use during the 2021-22 school year. This form configuration provides increased documentation flexibility, greater focus on professional growth conversations, identification of areas for growth, and tracking feedback/progress on specific target areas for individuals. The growth-focused setup options have been offered for optional adoption each year 2021 through 2023.

Take Action Now!

Late summer and early fall are busy for Frontline. Completion of the online form and/or rollover closer to the start of the school year may result in an increased timeline for completion of your setup.

Note: Modifications to DPI-created state model forms or configurations in the Frontline platform may result in a setup that falls outside the coverage of DPI’s contract for services with Frontline Education. The services required to complete or support customizations outside of DPI's contracted services may result in costs/charges to the district or charter, to be paid directly to Frontline. Local leaders should work with DPI regarding desired form or configuration customizations. We can assist with determining what options are available within the contract services.
