Family Day Care Home Component

What is the Family Day Care Home Component of the CACFP?

The CACFP provides reimbursement for meals and snacks served to children receiving nonresidential day care in private homes that are licensed and/or certified to provide family child care.

Family day care home providers must participate in the CACFP through an approved sponsoring organization. Currently, Wisconsin has 6 sponsoring organizations of family day care home providers. If you are a family day care home provider, please click Wisconsin CACFP Sponsors Forum to contact a sponsoring organization in your area.
