PUBLIC NOTICE
Public Notice of Comment Regarding New State-Determined Performance Levels Under the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) for the period FY2026-2027.
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (WDPI) is seeking to revise the state-determined levels of performance for core indicators of performance as part of the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V). The initial state-determined performance levels were outlined in the Wisconsin Perkins V State Plan.
Pursuant to Sec. 113(b)(3)(A)(i)(III) of the Act, states are to set state determined levels of performance and be higher than the average actual levels of performance of the two most recently completed program years, plus an increase in growth.
Performance measure printable graphs are linked here.
Pursuant to Sec. 122 (a)(4) each eligible agency shall make the State plan publicly available for public comment for a period of not less than 30 days. Public comment will be February 23 -March 24, 2026.
