Multiple birth status indicates whether a student was born as part of a multiple birth, such as twins or triplets. This data element should be submitted as True or False.

USES: This data element is required for Choice and public schools. This data element is helpful for identifying potential duplicate student records. For example, if a student is part of a multiple birth, a birth date and surname match with another student might not indicate that they are potentially duplicate records. This data element is not considered a demographic and is not collected for snapshot purposes.
