Agency Name states the full name of the local education agency (LEA) entering data into School Directory Management Portal application.
The full name of the agency should be displayed. Please avoid entering abbreviated names (e.g., use Benjamin Franklin middle school instead of Ben Franklin middle).

For public schools, this would be the name of the school district.

For private schools, Agency Name is not requested. Instead, please list the name of the public school district within which you are geographically located for the 'School District' data field.

For an independent charter school, this would be the name of the governance board.

For a state agency, Agency Name is not requested. Instead, please list the name of the name of the state agency for the 'School District' data field.

For a Cooperative Education Services Agency, Agency Name is not requested. Instead, please list the CESA and its number for the 'School District' data field.

For a County Children with Disabilities Education Board, Agency Name is not requested. Instead, please list the name of the County CDEB for the 'School District' data field.
