Application Open/Closed: School Directory Management Portal

School Directory Management Portal allows districts, independent charter schools, private schools, and other local education agencies (LEAs) to update the DPI database. The data entered into the School Directory Management Portal then feeds the information viewable on the School Directory Public Portal.

The School Directory Management Portal closes annually to conduct this annual upload. Closure usually occurs sometime between mid-to-late December, and the application typically re-opens in early-to-mid January.

Please note that when the application opens in January (or thereabouts) each calendar year, it is accepting data for the school year that will begin in September of that calendar year. For example, when the School Directory Management Portal opened in January 2023, it started accepting data for the 2023-24 school year and could no longer accept updates for 2022-23.
