Total Required Credits: Graduation Plan
The Total Required Credits data element records the total number of credits required for a student to graduate from high school in the submitting district. This data element is part of the graduation plan each district submits for each school year and is the combined number of required credits for each academic subject needed for a student to graduate.
The Wisconsin minimum number of required credits is 15 credits, but DPI recommends that a graduation plan include 23.5 required credits.
This data element is submitted at the district level.
