Student Reference: Discipline
This element is a reference to the related student's unique student identification code, namely to the student's WISEid.
The Student Reference can be alpha-numeric, and is assigned by the local education agency (LEA).
Student reference is a required data element.
USES: This data element is critical in tracking an incident to the correct student involved in the incident.

DOC, DHS, PPP: No discipline information should be submitted for students in a Department of Corrections or Department of Health Services school or enrolled as a parentally-placed private student.
