Student Participation Code: Discipline

Discipline app icon

The Student Participation Code describes the role or participation type of the student in the discipline incident.

Starting with the 2023-24 school year, the student participation code ‘perpetrator’ is no longer required by DPI. LEAs may still see this code within their Student Information System (SIS), and LEAs may still submit this value. However, it will not display on WISEdata. The code will be visible in previous years' data.

USES: This data element assists with identifying which student caused the disruption by breaking a school rule.
