WISEdash for Districts: Fix to Attendance Dashboard

A fix has been deployed for the Attendance Dashboard category: Average Daily Attendance/Membership. The trend dates are now dynamic and actively derive from the Days of Instruction stored in the data warehouse.

WISEdash for Districts: Fix to Attendance Snapshot Dashboard

Previously, the summary dashboards displayed only the Attending school when using the Attending/Accountable filter. This has now been fixed, and the Attendance rate graphics are displayed as well.

WISEdash for Districts: Fix to Discipline Snapshot Dashboard

Charts were not correctly using the Accountable School on the Discipline Snapshot Dashboard. This has now been fixed.

WISEdash for Districts: Enhancement to ACCESS Topic Area

The ACCESS Current and Former EL Dashboard will now show cases where:

  • The current ELP Code of the student is set to 7 and
  • The student had previously taken an ACCESS assessment.

WISEdash Public Portal: Fix to Attendance, Absenteeism Dashboard

Previously on the Attendance, Absenteeism Dashboard, the system displayed data for line items with a student count of zero, leading to an overly aggressive redaction. To align with other dashboards and to fix the redaction issue, we have removed the grouping where the student count was zero.

WISEdash Public Portal: Enhancement to Digital Equity Dashboard

The graphic for the Digital Equity Dashboard will now display the most current information for Public School Students Who Have Responded (of Students Enrolled). The dashboard will update as soon as enrollment counts are available; enrollment numbers captured during the December snapshot take some time to update. NOTE: The term Digital Equity is being deprecated and replaced by the term Digital Opportunity Gap. The updated terminology is live on DPI webpages and will be aligned on all DPI resources by July 1, 2025.

WISEdash for Districts: Updates to Assessment Data

As Forward recently went through a standards setting, we needed to temporarily disable the “benchmarks” graphic in the STAR area for the latest year’s data as this is based on old Forward standards. DPI is working with Renaissance to update these standards, and we will, again, provide this graphic once the standards have been updated.

WISEdash for Districts: New ACCESS Dashboard

WISEdash for Districts now has a new dashboard called, “ACCESS Current and Former EL.” This dashboard displays the list of all enrolled current and former EL students. When Users drill into this dashboard, they see the year and test scores of the most recent ACCESS test. This dashboard will be very helpful to LEAs resolving validation errors for ACCESS scores and corresponding ELP codes. This WISEdash feature was a request from the WISEdash Advisory Group, made up of key users from our school districts.

WISEdash for Districts: Bug Fix

A bug fix was done in two of the data quality indicators (DQI’s) in the Year End Completion Snapshot Dashboard. The bug was causing two of the DQI’s to display errors when the dashboard was displaying by School Type or School. This has been fixed.

WISEdash for Districts: aimswebPlus Survey – Please Consider Taking!

We wanted to highlight the LEA Survey on Student Rostering that is included at the end of the Option to use WISEdata for aimswebPlus Act 20 Rostering communication that was sent November 13. We would like your feedback, whether or not you participated in the optional fall screener in aimswebPlus.

WISEdash for Districts: Various Dashboard Updates

  • SPED Year End Indicator 11 snapshot chart: We changed this screen to only show the school of attendance, regardless of which school type is chosen. This allows LEAs to view the data they need to see in order to perform data quality auditing to prepare for the December 10, 2024 snapshot.
  • Student Profile Growth Metrics: This was updated to include PreACT secure data, handle multiple different standard settings, as well as multiple paths for students through the series of assessments.
  • Assessment Analysis: We made updates in the dashboard help text to better describe our recent changes.
