Students in Special Needs Scholarship Program

Students in Special Needs Scholarship Program

Definition: The Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP) allows a student with a disability, who meets certain eligibility requirements, to receive a state-funded scholarship to attend a participating private school.

Reporting Considerations

Public Schools

  • Students participating in SNSP should be reported as normal to WISEdata with the appropriate enrollment type, whether primary or parentally-placed private.

Choice Schools

  • Students participating in SNSP are not considered Choice students.
  • If your Choice school opts into the All Students Report Card, students participating in SNSP should be included in that reporting. If your Choice school does not opt into the All Students Report Card, students participating in SNSP should not be submitted to WISEdata.
