TRAIN-WI Program

The TRAIN-WI Program provides training to educators using Dr. Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model in Education (NME) program. The purpose of the training is to coach school personnel in the foundations of trauma, how trauma affects the brain, how it shows up in child behavior, and how we can all have a huge impact on children who have experienced trauma. Participants in this training will join an NME cohort, which meets virtually six times; in addition, participants will read What Happened to You? Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing by Dr. Bruce Perry and Oprah Winfrey, watch videos, and complete study guides independently. The time commitment for this free learning opportunity is about 20 hours. Virtual cohort meetings are provided outside of school hours, and participants will be paid for participation, provided they comply with all of the requirements.
