This year's Building the Heart of Successful Schools Conference, December 6 - 7, 2018, will be held at the Wilderness Resort and Glacier Canyon Lodge located in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

Building the Heart of Successful Schools Conference, December 6-7, $125

There will be three pre-conference sessions on Wednesday, December 5:
1. Best Practices in Screening for Behavioral and Mental Health - $50

2. Compassion Resilience Training of Trainers - $50

3. 6th Annual Healthier Schools Workshop - $0 (Sponsored by Children’s Hospital)
The task of building school wellness doesn’t have to be overwhelming. This workshop offers success stories, resources, strategies, and the opportunity to network and collaborate in order to build your capacity to help students reach their maximum academic potential. Highlights of the workshop include how to identify your assets, various avenues to leverage funds, Wisconsin School Health Award updates, learning more about the multitude of national, state, and local resources available. Our feature presenter, Holly Hunt, Branch Chief, CDC School Health Branch, will guide our understanding of how to utilize the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child approach to our advantage.
