Alternate ACCESS : Opportunity to Participate

WIDA is seeking panelists to participate in the WIDA Alternate ACCESS standard setting event. Panelists will work in four grade clusters, with two teams in each cluster, establishing proficiency level standards for Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.

Interested panelists with knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas are invited to submit interest:

  • Special educators of students with a most significant cognitive disability
  • Bilingual or English as a Second Language (ESL) educators
  • Any or a combination of grades levels

The WIDA Alternate ACCESS Standards Setting even takes place July 16-19, 2024, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. WIDA will cover all travel and accommodation expenses for selected participants, in accordance with University of Wisconsin Madison Policy. Panelists will also receive an honorarium of $400 for a total of four days of participation.
