Improve Assistive Technology in Wisconsin

Thursday, February 1, 2024

Do you have students that could benefit from the use of assistive technology (AT) to improve reading, social and emotional skills, autonomy, or other life skills? See the below resources developed through AT Forward, an IDEA funded project between Wisconsin DPI and CESA 2. Help us to reach our goal to have an AT Forward Community of Practice member in every school district in Wisconsin for AT learners at any level.

AT Forward Microcredentials: Are you looking to expand your knowledge around executive functioning skills, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Accessible Educational Materials, Universal Design for Learning and other AT-related topics? Then please visit the AT Forward Project’s Micro-Credential website, where you can earn micro-credentials in each of these areas. These learning opportunities are free and open to anyone interested in learning more about AT!

AEM Website and Resources: Are you interested in learning more about Accessible Educational Materials (AEM) resources? Then visit DPI’s recently launched Accessible Educational Material website to find AEM resources, tools, and learning opportunities all in one place.
