Please welcome Karla Leggett as a new project position member to our team. She will be supporting our Indicator 17 efforts to improve literacy outcomes and working primarily in and with school districts selected to participate in the Implementation Zone – Early Reading Project as well as supporting our overall Implementation Zone efforts. Karla started on February 26 as an Early Literacy Coach. She lives in Oshkosh and has held roles as a Speech and Language Clinician, Instructional Literacy Coach, Reading Recovery Teacher throughout all grade levels in public education. She has a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language and Reading Education and is seeking her doctoral degree in literacy. We are fortunate she’s chosen DPI as the next step in her professional journey.
