The PI-1547 Pupil Transportation Report (which collects student ridership data) for 2022-23 opened on Monday, May 15, 2023. School districts and independent charter schools that provided free transportation to and from school in 2022-23 should submit their ridership data to receive state categorical aid for pupil transportation in 2023-24.
A Few Notes to Remember:
- Ridership data on transportation for summer and interim session courses is submitted through a different report, the PI-1547-SS, which will open in July.
- Before entering data in the PI-1547 report, we recommend completing the “Transportation Aid Worksheet” Excel workbook posted on the Pupil Transportation Aid webpage. Aid eligibility is based upon ridership counts in distance categories.
- The PI-1547 Pupil Transportation Report is due on Friday, June 30, 2023. You can access it through the SAFR district portal under “Non-Financial Data” or on the “Status & Due Dates” screen.
